Watch a Livestream of Shia LaBeouf Riding an Elevator for 24 Hours

A day after commemorating their previous project a cold-call experiment called #TouchMySoul Shia LaBeouf and the other members of his artistic collective (Luke Turner and Nastja Sde Rkk) have launched #ELEVATE, in which the trio livestream a 24-hour elevator ride. Early Friday morning, the actor announced through his Twitter feed that they would be occupying a lift in Oxford starting at 9am on February 19th, briefly pausing at 8pm to give a talk at Oxford Union.

The elevator remains stationary, so while there isnt much to see (most of the livestream is fixed on the shot of a closed metal door), theres always something to hear. According to the projects official description, Visitors are invited to address the artists and the Internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address.

Topics so far have ranged from what LaBeoufs parents think of his art (My dad is cool with it but my mom thinks its batshit crazy) to what movies hed like to see (Legend is at the top of the list) and what animal the actor would choose to be (A hippo, because theyre docile creatures that can also be vicious).

For more information about LaBeouf, Rnkk, & Turner, and for details about all of their previous work, visit the collectives official website.
