First Man tells the riveting story of NASAs mission to land a man on the moon, focusing on Neil Armstrong and the years 1961-1969. A visceral, first-person account, based on the book by James R. Hansen, the movie will explore the sacrifices and the coston Armstrong and on the nationof one of the most dangerous missions in history, Universal Pictures said.
The trailer opens with Armstrong and his fellow astronauts doing life-threatening earthbound exercises to prepare for their fateful mission, as well as maneuvering a skeptical press that questions the necessity of fulfilling John F. Kennedys dream of sending Americans to the moon.
