Netflix has unveiledthe first full look at The Do-Over, their upcoming comedy starring Adam Sandler and David Spade. The 30-second teaserhinted at the films basic premise: A miserable family man played by Spade is given a do-over after faking his death and forming a new identity thanks to his childhood friend and conman, played by Sandler. The red-band trailer shows all the trouble the two men get into in their new lives, including gunfights, threesomes with Luis Guzman, boat explosions, roofies and vehicular manslaughter.
The Do-Over is the second of four filmsSandlers Happy Madison production company will make exclusively for the streaming service, following 2015s controversialWestern comedy Ridiculous 6. Despite the uproar over that films stereotyping of Native Americans, the comedy still managed to become the most streamed movie after 30 days in Netflixs history, Vulturenotes. Steven Brill, the films director, previously teamed with Sandler on Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds.
The Do-Over premieres on Netflix on May 27th.
