Earlier this year, Star Trek Beyond hit theaters and grossed $338 million. Thats enough to guarantee a 14th film in the franchise that began all the way back in 1979 with the release of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Of course, the whole phenomenon really started 50 years ago with the original Star Trek television series. It became a huge cult hit in syndication in the 1970s, but during its original run never got very high ratings and was cancelled after just three seasons.
Now we have a question for you: What is the best Star Trek movie? Any of the 13 films that played in theaters counts. Feel free to vote for an OG classic like Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan or Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, a Next Generation flick like Star Trek: First Contact or Star Trek: Nemesis or one from the rebooted universe like Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond. Pick whatever Star Trek movie you want, but please only vote once and only for a single selection.
