News came out this weekthat Andy Muschietti, director of the indie horror hit Mama, is in talks to helm a big-screen adaptation of Stephen Kings classic 1986 book It. The project has been in development for years, and at one point director Cary Fukunaga was attached, but he recentlydropped out due tobudget concerns.
Now we have a question for you: What is the best movie adaptation of a Stephen King book? Feel free to vote for a classic like Brian De Palmas Carrie or Stanley Kubricks The Shining, something based off one of his novellas like Stand by Me and Shawshank Redemption or even a TV movie like The Stand and It. Well even count movies based off books by his pseudonym Richard Bachman like Thinner and The Running Man.
