Watch Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds Public Memorial

Following Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds private joint funeral in January, fans will pay tribute to the actresses Saturday afternoon as part of a family-sponsored public memorial in Los Angeles. That memorial will be available to live-stream via Debbie Reynolds site starting at 1 p.m. PST.

The public ceremony will be held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills, where Fisher and Reynolds were laid to rest; Fishers ashes were placed in a giant Prozac pill-shaped urn.

The memorial will feature Star Wars composer John Williams music as well as the debut of a new song by James Blunt, a close friend of Fishers; the actress was the godmother to Blunts child, and Blunt recorded his Back to Bedlam at Fishers home. Blunt wont be on hand to perform the track, but the song will debut over a photomontage.

The last lyric in the song, its a beautiful song, is, Im here to let you know. Im here to let you go. And its powerful, Todd Fisher previously told Entertainment Tonight.

The Gay Mens Chorus of Los Angeles and a dance tribute courtesy of the Debbie Reynolds dance school are also on the bill.

The Forest Lawn venue holds 1,200 people, with the overflow able to watch the memorial on large TV screens. Following the memorial, fans will have the opportunity to visit Fisher and Reynolds grave.

Fisher, who starred as Princess Leia in the Star Wars series, died December 27th, days after suffering a cardiac episode aboard an airplane. Reynolds died the following day from a severe stroke.
