Rob Zombie has partnered with Fathom Events to bring his latest horror flick 31 to movie theaters for one night only. 31 hits over 400 multiplexes on September 1st; check out the Fathom site for participating theaters.
I think this is the one the Zombie-heads have been waiting for a nonstop barrage of insane characters trapped in an intensely violent situation, Zombie said of 31, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. I am thrilled to finally get this out to the fans.
Zombie crowdfunded his latest horror flick, which centers around five carnival workers who are forced to play a deranged game called 31 on Halloween by a group of maniacs.
I was reading this statistic: Halloween is the Number One day of the year when people go missing for some reason, Zombie told Rolling Stone in July 2014. I thought, What an interesting premise for a film. This is five people that go missing on each day leading up to Halloween and what happens to them on the 31st.
In addition to the film, the Fathom screenings also include the premiere of a pair of Zombie music videos The Hideous Exhibitions of a Dedicated Gore Whore and Get Your Boots On! Thats The End of Rock and Roll.
