Jimmy Kimmel Live!revived its celebrity-crushing Mean Tweets series on Thursday, letting random Internet trolls get their three seconds of fame in the Movie Edition. A variety of A-list stars from Seth Rogen to Emily Blunt read mean-spirited and insulting tweets theyve received. Their hurt feelings is our hilarity.
The clip opens with Christoph Waltz, who delivers a dramatic reading of a dismissive Twitter user: I have no idea who Christoph Waltz is, but hes pretty fn boring, so I am probably not going to bother finding out. George Clooney, Patricia Arquette, Jessica Chastain, Zach Galifianakis, Eddie Redmayne and Kevin Hart are among the other celebrities receiving Twitter insults in this edition.
As one might expect, many of the tweets focus on the movie stars looks including the account @Pooplosophy channeling Triumph the Insult Comic Dog: Emily Blunts got a purdy mouth that Id like to poop in. Meanwhile, Seth Rogens nemesis focuses on his supposed resemblance to a former Saved By the Bell star: Convinced that Seth Rogen is really just Dustin Diamond with 150 extra pounds on him.
