Key & Peeles Jordan Peele transitions from comedy to horror with the new film Get Out, which he wrote and directed. Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford co-star in Peeles largely mysterious film.
The trailer begins with Kaluuya and Williams portraying Chris and Rose: a young, interracial couple preparing for Chris first meeting with Roses parents la Guess Whos Coming to Dinner. He worries that his girlfriend has not prepared her parents, since they do not know that she is dating a black man yet. The pairs first encounter with the strange quality of the situation theyre entering is when a strange object flies at their cars windshield while theyre driving down a heavily wooded road.
At their destination, Chris begins noticing the weird interactions with Roses parents played by Keener and Whitford and the distant, Stepford-like existence of the black people employed by the older couple. A friend back home tells Chris that several black men have gone missing in the suburb hes visiting before things begin to spiral out of control into a violent attempt for escape. Get Out will be released on February 24th.
